In its 11th year, Burley's beloved Book Bash event is an annual celebration of the written word. Each year, authors, illustrators, poets, and Burley students across all grade levels come together as peers - asking questions, engaging in discovery, and sharing inspiration about their experiences in writing.
On Tuesday, February 28th, Burley School is excited to welcome two highly talented and award-winning authors whose books and stories will inspire readers from Pre-K through 8th grade to explore writing - and life! - from different perspectives: Kwame Alexander and James Klise.
Pre-order books by next Friday, December 10th, and they will be delivered to students' classrooms and signed by authors on the day of Book Bash.
There are two options for placing book orders this year:
Book Bash is a student-only event, so if you are a parent and would like to attend - sign up to volunteer! Help is needed with decorations, book sales, and escorting classrooms during the event. Don't miss the chance to be part of this wonderful Burley tradition!
You can make purchases from the online Burley Book Fair through November 23. All online orders ship directly to school for free!
