Burley is a public elementary school where teaching and learning is energetic, collaborative, interactive, and joyful. We are Chicago's first Literature, Writing, and Technology Magnet Cluster School. Within our century-old building is a dynamic and thriving learning community. Students, teachers, parents, and administrators work together to create an environment where all students are challenged and nurtured. Our faculty has written a nationally-recognized curriculum through which our students grow to be readers, writers, thinkers, and leaders.
