Join us for The Merit School of Music Holiday Hoopla on Thursday, December 19th in the Gym. Students will be performing a variety of music to show off what they’ve learned this year, celebrate the winter season and to kick off winter break! Then, on Friday, students are encouraged to take part in Spirit Day. Fifth grade has selected a holiday theme, and students may wear gear related to any favorite holiday, from any time of year!

8:30-10:00am
Attend: Kindergarten, 1st Grade
Perform: Kindergarten, 1st Grade, Advanced Choir
Performance 2
10:30-12:00pm
Attend: 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th Grades
Perform: Intermediate Band, Project Band, Advanced Choir, 5th Grade Choir, 6th Grade Choir
Performance 3
1:10-2:40pm
Attend: 2nd, 3rd, 4th Grades
Perform: 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade Choir, 4th Grade Choir, Beginning Band
Performer's Attire: Students are asked to dress up for their performance - students in band and choir wear white tops, black bottoms and black shoes in addition to any additional "flair" the music teacher may have given their group direction on. The rest of the students, please no jeans and no print T-shirts.
Audience Request: We ask that audience members stay and enjoy all performances in the performance slot they are attending. This will provide an audience for all performing students and groups as well as prevent coming and going distractions.
