Download and print this poster to help you remember the steps! | There's no Remote Learning today; it's Parent Conference Day. However, here's something you can learn: the correct way to wash your hands! Proper hand washing is one of the most important tools we have in the fight against COVID-19. And who better to teach you than the Burley third grade? Scientists at the World Health Organization (W.H.O.) have determined the best way to wash hands to remove all dirt and germs. During 3rd grade health, we learned the W.H.O.'s six hand washing moves and came up with fun names for them. Then, we recorded ourselves demonstrating so we could teach others! To make the videos more clear, we used green screening to combine the recordings with animations from a helpful resource on the USA Today website. We hope our videos help you remember this important technique. There are three versions of the video, each with different words (and different student demonstrators). Sing along, get clean, and be healthy! When it comes to stopping the new coronavirus, we're all in this together. Our regular Morning Announcements will return on Thursday. |
